<br>For many casual players, seeing the opponent casually drop a massive, 8-elixir Golem in the absolute back of the arena induces a feeling of sheer, paralyzing dread.<br>
<br>Defeating a Golem deck is not about stopping the massive push at your bridge; it is about ensuring that massive push is never fully built in the first place.<br>
Striking When They Are Weak
<br>The exact millisecond an opponent places a Golem behind their King Tower, they have spent 8 elixir, leaving them with a maximum of 2 elixir to defend any immediate threats.<br>
<br>If they spend elixir defending your opposite-lane rush, they will have absolutely no elixir left to put support troops (like a Night Witch or Baby Dragon) behind their Golem, rendering the massive tank completely harmless and easy to kill.<br>
Your attacking troops will simply lock onto the massive Golem, completely wasting their damage.Do not over-commit on your punish.Cycle quickly or prepare for the hardest defense of your life.
Isolating the Tank and Spacing Defenses
<br>You must 'isolate' the tank from its support troops using a sturdy defensive building like a Bomb Tower or Inferno Tower placed high in the center of the arena.<br>
<br>While your building melts the isolated Golem, your Valkyrie shreds the fragile support troops, completely dismantling the deathball synergy and saving your tower.<br>
