<br>Deploying a massive, high-hitpoint tank like a Golem, Giant, or Lava Hound is only the first step in executing a successful 'Beatdown' strategy.<br>
<br>If your support units perfectly counter the opponent's specific defensive strategy, your tank will march directly to the Princess tower unhindered.<br>
Clearing the Path
<br>These units are designed specifically to solve the tank's biggest weakness: massive swarms of cheap, low-health defenders (like the Skeleton Army or Minion Horde).<br>
<br>However, splash units usually have lower single-target Damage Per Second (DPS) and are incredibly vulnerable if the tank dies.<br>
